Recommending the appropriate lozenge
There are a number of different types of lozenge. This table will help you to remember the key active ingredients and their benefits so that you can make the most appropriate recommendation for your customer.
Some products are classified as P medicines, others are GSL. There may be times when a customer selects a GSL product from the shelf, but a P product may be more suitable for their needs, and vice versa. Note that this table does not include all products available. Check the packaging carefully and remind customers to read the leaflet when recommending products.
