Community Pharmacy England is asking pharmacy owners and their teams to take part in this year’s Pharmacy Advice Audit, which starts today (June 3) and runs until June 16.

The audit will help CPE get an accurate picture of the ‘halo’ effect of ever-more people seeking advice from community pharmacies, some of which falls outside of the funded Pharmacy First service, and make the case for increased funding for the sector, it says.

 “The results of the audit will be of great benefit to our ongoing call for more funding, as well as in our wider conversations with politicians and election candidates, and in national media work,” the negotiating body adds.

Pharmacy owners who use Sigma Pharmaceuticals will have received hard copy materials, including the data entry template. An infographic and animation is also available to help contractors.
