Community Pharmacy England has launched its third Pharmacy Pressures Survey, which is open to anyone who owns or works in a community pharmacy. The survey will take around 10-15 minutes to complete, and will remain open until midnight on 2 April.

“The situation for community pharmacies is now critical and we know this is impacting on workload, stress levels, patients, and businesses,” says CPE. “We expect this year’s findings to echo those of previous surveys, and we will be using the results directly in our negotiations with Government and the NHS, as well as in our wider conversations with MPs, ministers, and in national media work.”

The survey once again comes in two sections – one for business owners and the other for pharmacy team members - with many questions kept similar to last year’s to give a clear picture over time.

• Pharmacy business owners/head office representatives This survey covers the pressures being experienced by businesses, looking at the overall running of the pharmacy business including financial and staffing pressures
• Pharmacy teams This survey covers the day-to-day pressures being experienced by pharmacy teams including supply chain issues, patient interactions/experience and staff morale.
