A branch of Day Lewis has been sold to a first-time buyer in Greenwich.
Dr Mayura Bala, who intends to rename the business Amal Pharmacy, purchased it for an undisclosed fee.
Christie and Co, who brokered the deal, said the pharmacy “dispenses an average of 3,450 items per month and occupies a large, double-fronted premises” and was sold by Day Lewis “as part of a strategic divestment.”
Christie and Co told Independent Community Pharmacist the branch was bought by PharmaEthical Limited.
“This was a straightforward sale of a company-owned pharmacy moving to independent ownership,” said Christie and Co director Mark Page.
“The local area around Greenwich continues to grow, with riverside flats in the area being very fashionable. We are always delighted to help a first-time buyer secure their first shop and wish Mayura all the very best.”
