Aspen Pharma is launching a multichannel consumer campaign for Emla Cream, which is aimed at parents of children undergoing needle procedures. The new campaign, ‘Mum’s Magic Cream’, describes how Emla can help to ease the pain of procedures such as routine immunisations, travel vaccinations and blood tests. Aspen is using social media channels to engage with its target audience and launching its own Facebook page and YouTube channel for Emla. Social media activities are being supported by the launch of a consumer website for Emla (ihateneedles.co.uk) and online advertising.
