Pharmacy contractors in England have less than four weeks to complete Health Education England’s mandatory 2022 Community Pharmacy Workforce Survey.
Developed by HEE in partnership with NHS England alongside PSNC, AIM, CCA and NPA, the survey, which has to be completed by November 30, is similar to those undertaken in 2017 and 2021.
It contains questions about the number and full-time equivalent (FTE) number of staff including pharmacists, trainee pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, dispensing assistants, medicines counter assistants, delivery drivers and any trainees in the pharmacy.
Every community pharmacy in England is required to complete the survey, with the NHS Business Services Authority saying it has already emailed pharmacy contractors inviting them to fill it in online.
Those who have not received an email invitation from the NHSBSA can expect their head office to submit data on their behalf. Contractors who think their pharmacy should have received an email invitation but have not should email pharmacyteam@hee.nhs.uk
