The Department of Health and Social Care has extended the end date of the serious shortage protocols (SSPs) for Fluoxetine 30mg and 40mg capsules into next month.

The SSPs for the 30mg and 40mg packs were due to end tomorrow (October 31) but will now continue until November 20 and 11 respectively.

The SSP for fluoxetine 10mg capsules was withdrawn on Friday October 25 as the DHSC said supplies are now sufficient to meet demand.
