Pharmacists should not delay in getting to grips with the revalidation process, and the steps and activities they need to complete on registration renewal. This will especially be true when peer discussions and reflective accounts are required from 2019.
It is essential that the timelines are reviewed and recording is commenced without delay. An increased focus on reflective learning and, as a result, on improving services and outcomes for service users as a result of revalidation will reflect the true value of pharmacy professionals in improving the health of the public and increase public trust in pharmacy.
