Community pharmacists have played a vitally important role during the Covid-19 pandemic, providing medicines, services and information when it was often difficult for people to access other primary care healthcare services. As a result, many more people have come to realise what a valuable resource their local community pharmacy is. 

We shall almost certainly have to learn to live with Covid-19, probably as a seasonal disease. Community pharmacists, as accessible healthcare professionals, will continue to have an important role in clarifying information for patients, debunking misinformation and, when the time comes, providing vaccinations.
