Are your staff confident about counselling someone who seeks advice on aftercare for ear cartilage piercing? Check their understanding and consider using the PHE leaflets.
Reflection exercise 2
Make a list of the antiseptic wash products and antiseptic-containing emollient products, including bath additives, that you have in your pharmacy. Bear in mind that some people develop benzalkonium chloride allergy. Do you have alternative products available?
