The English Pharmacy Board of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society has two new faces following its elections.
Danny Bartlett (pictured) was elected to the Board and Sarwat (Sorbi) Khattak filled the casual vacancy for one year.
Richard Evans was elected unopposed to the Welsh Pharmacy Board but elections did not take place in Scotland this year. The new members will take up their places at the national Board meetings next month.
“Congratulations to Danny and Sorbi who were elected to the English Pharmacy Board, and to Richard who was elected to the Welsh Pharmacy Board. I look forward to working with them to champion the profession and put pharmacy at the forefront of healthcare,” said Royal Pharmaceutical Society president Claire Anderson.
“I’d also like to thank the other candidates who stood for election but were not successful on this occasion.”
In total, 18,333 ballots were issued and 1,336 individual members voted. The turnout was 7.3 per cent.
